Version 11 (1.6) — Playlist & Queue Update This update introduces YouTube playlist support, smart media queuing when events overlap, and improved ad reliability on players. 🎶 YouTube Playlist Support • Schedule entire YouTube playlists — all videos play sequentially • New Playlist mode toggle in YouPlayer media events • Add multiple playlist IDs — they play one after another • Playlist durations fetched and displayed before scheduling • Drag-to-reorder playlist entries in the event editor 📋 Smart Media Queuing • Events that trigger while media is already playing are queued automatically • Queued events play in order once current playback finishes • Notification shown when an event is queued so you stay informed • Pause timeout — if paused for 10+ minutes with events waiting, next event starts automatically • Queue applies to local, URI, and YouPlayer media (YouTube app excluded) 🔄 Ads Refresh on Player • Overlay ads now refresh every 45 seconds during playback • If a refresh fails, the previous ad stays visible — no blank space • Applies to both Compose-based and YouTube XML overlay players 🔒 Android 14+ Manifest Compliance • Added Selected Photos Access permission for partial photo/video grants • Removed restricted USE_EXACT_ALARM — uses SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM (runtime-granted) • Exported MediaPlaybackService now requires MEDIA_CONTENT_CONTROL permission • Foreground service types already declared — no changes needed ⚙️ Build Improvements • Automated version code bump after each release build • AAB renamed with version number automatically
